OFFICE OF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR REPORTS
74,5 percent of appeals against groundless and illegal court’s decisions had been processed for 2003 and this figure was higher in comparison with that of 2002, Public Prosecutor’s office said. Along with some positive outcomes, shortcomings that had negative impact on the effectiveness of government case protection were eliminated. These are partial and insufficient study of court’s documents by public prosecutor, lack of reasonable opinions for petitions raised while consideration, inconformity of appeals with requirements etc.
Public Prosecutor’s Office takes necessary actions to prevent such things.
