President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev considered it necessary for nongovernmental organizations, along with governmental structures, to be actively involved in bringing truth on Khojali genocide to the notice of global community. In this connection, the National Forum of Nongovernmental Organizations has held a meeting.

President of the Forum Azay Guliyev stated addressing the meeting that the organizations had apprehended rightly the President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions. During the meeting, representatives of the NGOs have held wide opinions exchange on the Khojali and March 31 genocides, and stressed they would take active part in bringing truth on these tragedies to the notice of the international community. To this end, a permanent commission of the 25 nongovernmental organizations of Azerbaijan has been founded.
