First students admitted to Azerbaijani Language master’s program in China
Beijing, September 28, AZERTAC
China’s prestigious Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) has completed its first admission of students for the master’s degree program in Azerbaijani language.
This milestone marks a new stage of progress, elevating the teaching of the Azerbaijani language at the university from the undergraduate to the master’s level.
The admission for the master’s program was conducted in two stages: a written examination and an interview. Two talented third-year BFSU students specializing in the Azerbaijani language successfully passed both stages of examination to join the master’s program. They are set to begin their master’s program in September 2027 under the scientific supervision of Agshin Aliyev, Ph.D. in philology and head of the Department of Azerbaijani language.
