A workshop training entitled “Equal participation of women and men in the politics and adoption of laws of state importance” has taken place at “Nagshijahan” hotel in Nakhchivan.

Chairman of the State Committee on Women Affairs of Azerbaijan Republic Zahra Guliyeva noted that women’s issues are constantly in the focus of attention of international human rights organizations. The state committee expands its international ties and closely cooperates with UN organizations.

Workshop participants discussed the issues of expanding women’s possibilities in restoration of social justice in the society, and resolution of conflicts.

In conclusion, participants were given certificates.
