UNIFEM PROJECT LAUNCHED

Second stage of the project of UN Development Fund for Women /UNIFEM/ “Women for prevention of conflicts in Southern Caucasus and establishment of peace” commenced. The project will be implemented late 2006.

Several projects will be carried out in frame of the project, national coordinator of the program for Azerbaijan Gulshan Pashayeva told AzerTAj correspondent.

“ Round table discussions” on the topic “ Equal participation of women and men in adoption of decisions” will be held in 12 regions of Azerbaijan, July-August.
