UN FAO IMPLEMENTS PROJECT

Project “Reinforcement of phytosanitary service in Azerbaijan” is being carried out in Azerbaijan. The project envisages opening of the modern expertise laboratory in amount of 63 thousand dollars within a year, supply with the computers and other equipment in amount of 13 thousand dollars, hold two-month courses for 65 employees on protection of plants and quarantine, AzerTAj correspondent learnt from protection of plants and quarantine department of the Ministry of Agriculture.

FAO representatives have already visited Azerbaijan and familiarized with the project.

They will again visit the Republic in April, examine issues and adopt decision regarding the project.
