TRANSPORT LINKS TO BE EXPANDED

Minister of transport of the Azerbaijan Republic Ziya Mammadov and minister of transport of the Russian Federation Igor levitin have signed today a protocol on expansion of transport links in Baku, AzerTAj said.

Prior to signing ceremony, the guests visited the Alley of Martyrs, revered memory of the courageous sons of Azerbaijan who fell for freedom of Azerbaijan and territorial integrity, laid carnations on their graves.

Mr. Ziya Mammadov said the visit of his Russian counterpart to Baku is useful and the signed document meets interests of the Country.

Mr. Igor levitin has also stressed importance of the document, saying Russia attached priority to relations with neighboring countries, in particular, with Azerbaijan.

The ministers have answered other questions of media representatives.
