Robert Lewandowski ‘extends Bayern Munich contract’

Poland striker Robert Lewandowski has extended his Bayern Munich contract until 2021, according to a report in German magazine Sport Bild.
The 27-year-old is having a stellar season for the reigning German champions having netted 25 Bundesliga goals and scored 36 times in all competitions.
He has been linked to the likes of Real Madrid and a host of English clubs, including Manchester City, who current Bayern boss Pep Guardiola will coach next season.
According to Sport Bild, Bayern have improved Lewandowski’s contract meaning he is the fifth Bayern player, along with Thomas Mueller, Jerome Boateng, Javi Martinez and David Alaba, tied to the Bavarian giants until 2021.
