PRESENTATION OF DIPLOMATIC MAGAZINE
On 15 July, presentation of the fist issues of the magazine ‘Diplomatiya Alemi’ (‘World of Diplomacy’) of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held at the International Press-Center. In his opening remarks, foreign minister of Azerbaijan Vilayat Guliyev welcomed participants of the ceremony and ambassadors of foreign states to Azerbaijan. Then, he dwelt upon the necessity of issuance of this magazine. The ‘Diplomatiya Alemi’ to be issued quarterly, will narrate about the history and the present day of Azerbaijani diplomacy, actual problems on the international policy, theoretical and practical issues connected with foreign policy, he underlined.Head of the foreign relations department of the President Office Novruz Mammadov, head of the socio-political department of President Office Ali Hasanov and others spoke of the importance of the edition.Speaking at the presentation, ambassador of Ukraine Boris Aleksenko, ambassador of Georgia Zurab Gumberidze, PhD Jamil Hasanlu and others stressed the importance of the magazine for studying history of the Azerbaijan diplomacy, bringing it to the world community, training of cadres, engaged in policy.Also participating at the ceremony were representatives of diplomatic missions, members of the Milli Majlis.
