NEW PLATFORM UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Construction of the new platform in the Oil Rock is to be completed in the first quarter of 2006, according to Production Association Azneft. Some 32 wells are planned to be drilled here in 3-4.
Each 2000-2200 meters deep well is expected to produce 50-60 tons of oil a day. At present, the daily production in the Oil Rock operating since 1949 is 2300 tons. The volume of oil reserves here is estimated at 30 mln tons.
