NATIONAL WORKING GROUP DISCUSS TRACECA PROSPECTS
The 7th regular sitting of the Azerbaijan national working group was held at the permanent secretariat of the TRACECA program to discuss prospects of the Europe-Caucasus-Asia transport corridor. The sitting was attended by representatives of the Azerbaijani government, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Economic Development and Transport and its relevant structures, the State Customs Committee, the State Frontier Service, TACIS coordination bureau, and International Carriers Association.
National Secretary of the Azerbaijan intergovernmental TRACECA commission Akif Mustafayev informed the sitting participants in detail on the work done in Azerbaijan under the multilateral Agreement on the corridor, as well as the projects being implemented and progress achieved.
As a result of the debates on the future prospects pf the TRACECA program, the participants of the event have adopted a plan of actions to be submitted to the Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
