LONG-TERM ECONOMIC STRATEGY DEVELOPED

Specialists of the Ministry of Economic Development and the State Oil Fund have developed the long-term strategy of the use of oil revenue in Azerbaijan. The project has been agreed with relevant ministries and organizations. The use of the funds accumulated in the Oil Fund will be annually regulated by the country’s parliament. The main aim of pursuing of this strategy foreseen for the next 25-30 years is to reach development of private sector with maximum possible use of oil industry possibilities, reduction of poverty, improvement of the population well-being, protection and saving of the revenue for future generations.
