III INT’L SYMPOSIUM ON PROBLEMS OF HISTORICAL CITIES

Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Building hosted III International Symposium on problems of planning and development of the historical cities of Eastern and Central Asia. Supported by the Ministries of Education, Culture, as well as Youth, Sports and Tourism and Baku Mayor, the Forum has attracted prominent Universities of Japan, China, Korea, Uzbekistan and other countries.

Addressing the event, rector of the University, deputy of the Milli Majlis, professor Gulchohra Mammadova, deputy minister of education Irada Huseynova, deputy minister of culture Sevda Mammadaliyeva told of the importance of preservation of historical architectural monuments.

Professor of Japanese University Keyyo Riijhi Miake told of the long-standing friendship between Japan and Azerbaijan.

Then, members of the Symposium have delivered papers.
