GERHARD SCHROEDER VISITS BALKAN COUNTRIES

Federal Chancellor of Germany Gerhard Schroeder accompanied by representatives of the German business circles began on August 12 his official visits to Romania and Bulgaria, AzerTAj correspondent reports from Berlin.

According to the Chancellor’s press office, during the negotiations, the German delegation will exchange views with the government officials of Romania and Bulgaria on wide range of issues related to these Balkan counties’ entry into the European Union expected in 2007. The parties will also focus on expanding of economic cooperation.
