FIRST PILOT COMPANY SELECTED

The first pilot company has been selected under the Azerbaijan Corporate Governance Project implemented by the International Finance Corporation. The Baku bank Azerigazbank, the first winner of the pilot program announced in October 2005, will provide assistance to the Project’s working group in valuation of the existing experiences in corporate governance, consultations on how to improve corporate governance system and drawing up transparent and comprehensive financial reports.
