DRAFT AGREEMENT SIGNED

The draft agreement to the sum of US $ 171,921 for repair the hospital in Ganja region and secondary school in Galachig village of Gusar region was signed July 12 at the Embassy of Japan to Azerbaijan in the framework of the Japan government`s grant assistance program"Grassroots and human security".

Ambassador Tadahiro Abe highly valued the educational reforms in Azerbaijan, adding that the government of Japan will render any assistance to develop this area in the country.

Azerbaijan`s Education Minister Misir Mardanov thanked the government of Japan for support the educational reforms. Minister underlined that the students will study at the higher educational institutions of Japan in accordance with the decree of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev on education of youth in abroad.

Minister also asked the Ambassador to repair the 5 secondary schools in Ganja, Gashkasan, Guba, Balakan and Gabala regions.
