Health Ministry specialists continue to conduct disinfection works in Salyan, Neftchala, Saatli and Sabirabad provinces of Azerbaijan as well as Ali-Bayramli town suffered from inundation. AzerTac correspondent has learned from the Ministry that some180 medical brigades are now operating in the provinces. Special danger for the people’s health may be posed by intestinal infections and existence of waterlogged territories, which are the favorable place for malaria mosquito propagation. In this connection, the Government has assigned 500 million manats to purchase necessary vaccines and conduct preventive actions.
