CONTRACT WINNER TO BE ASCERTAINED IN OCTOBER

Winner of the contract in the frame of the project on rehabilitation of the energy supply system of Azerbaijan, financed by the German KFW Bank, is to be ascertained among several companies. As was stated at the local office of the Bank, among the banks interested in participation in the project, there are well-known ‘Siemens’ and German department of the Swiss-Sweden Company ABB.

It has to be reminded that in February this year between the German bank and ‘Azerenergy’ SC was signed an agreement on allocation of credit at amount €17,3 million for reconstruction of power transmission and introduction of modern system of dispatch management of energy system of Azerbaijan.

The tender procedures within the project will commence in September.
