“Azercell Telecom” joint venture has won “Ugur-2003” prize and been announced as the best telecommunication company of the year in a nomination “Successful investment activity and meeting of consumer’s needs”.

The “Ugur” prize instituted by the “Consulting Business” magazine is aimed at popularizing companies and certain persons that promote entrepreneurship and business in Azerbaijan, “Azercell“ press-service reported.

Indeed, “Azercell Telecom” is the leader of mobile communications in Azerbaijan. The number of subscribers is estimated at 1 million. “Azercell” currently keeps its leadership in a ration of number of subscribers to the total number of population not only in Azerbaijan but also in the CIS area.
