The network of joint venture Azercell Telecom covers 71 percent of the territory of Azerbaijan. 96 percent of the population makes use of mobile communications.

Azercell has struck 14 agreements with the mobile operators of Russia, Malta, Uzbekistan, France, Bahrain, Cambodia, Sudan, USA, Serbia and Montenegro, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein. Azercell provided the customers with the international mobile network covering 89 countries.

The company has initiated some new novelties to the subscribers. Now they can talk with 50-percent discount, receive soccer messages and use Internet.

The term of Yanbayan discount campaign was extended till the end of 2004.
